Virginia Business Records Index

The Virginia Business Records Index was created by Victor S. Dunn, CG®, as a means to build a comprehensive listing of the known surviving Virginia business records dating from the colonial period through about 1865. Databases such as the National Union Catalog of Manuscript Collections (NUCMC) and inventories online at Archival Resources of the Virginias (ARVA) are available for researchers, but none of these are geared toward genealogists.
